"Subassembly contains mate error" but all the mates are correct in the subassembly

One of my subassemblies always has a mate error when it is mated to another subassembly in my main assembly, but all of the mates in it are correct. It has two revolute joints, which move appropriately, and when mated in the main assembly, they both are rigid. Am I missing something?
