Low framerate doesn`t seem to be a GPU bottleneck

I`m a student, and i use both the school computer (very bad) and my home computer (good enough, should be able to run any cad tool well) to make my projects and despite the difference between the two computers i use they both get roughly the same FPS. So today i decided to test that on my school computer.
First i changed the canvas element`s size to 256 by 256, no change in performance, and then i changed the browser's window size to the minimum possible, still no change.
The only times the performance changes is when more parts are enabled, and at first i thought it was just more geometry strangling the lab pc, but with the resolution change the fps should have improved, which it didn't.
I also checked HWMonitor for usage and temperature: the GPU didn't go past 25% usage, the GPU memory stayed at 85% for the whole time, the CPU didn't go past 50% usage, and both temperatures didn't go past 40 ºC
I`ll check on my home pc later today

What is the output in the "Performance check" section when you do the compatibility checks --> https://cad.onshape.com/check

Are there messages about integrated graphics? There are links to follow with guides on how to set things up to get optimal performance...
