Hello everyone!

Over the past few years I have spent time compiling great public documents I have found. These contained beautiful libraries of data that I believe can serve the entire community. I have lost track of the original creators, but if you are responsible for the original document and wish to be credited please let me know so I can update this post!

DISCLAIMER: Onshape does not guarantee accuracy of any of these parts, or any future maintenance/development for these documents.

If anyone has any other libraries that they want to share this would be a great forum for that.

Found another great library for low level electronic components. You can find it here: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/e60249f1667151606584c18e/w/955c2cc57502a18d5e4df399/e/624fe466605c33109fe3d816

    Thank you sillion83!

The number of times I've been burnt by inaccurate CAD data even from the component manufacturers themselves....

Random databases from unknown sources are only useful for hobby level stuff where you just need to make something once and can always file things or add hot glue or whatever if things aren't right.

For production work, I always want the 2D drawings, which unfortunately are rarely the production drawings for the parts, but rather are catalog drawings of an assembly for sale. Even worse are the "drawings" which end up on component data sheets. These are often run through the filter of some graphic layout person redoing stuff in Adobe Illustrator. And I want the 3D, and I want physical samples.

Inevitably these 3 sources (2D, 3D, samples) will not all agree.

Then there's the issue that the samples that you get this week are not the same as what's in the supply chain when you go into production. Then there's the issue of stuff changing without notice when you're well into production.

@S1mon Agreed, these are likely not useful for any production-grade projects but useful for conceptualization before sourcing. None of the data here is tied to any supplier.

But I do hope it helps those who might need a reference for these sort of components

    Hello Ignacio,
The An fittings you show are from my library. I have taken all measurements from ms data sheets, and I'm relatively sure they are accurate - but having said that, I have physically measured two parts with the same AN number (from different manufactures) and have found slight variations. I have many other items - too many to list here (a whole catalogs worth). If you want to see more send me a PM.      Happy to share.
