Displaying a variable value (floor plan area) in a drawing

Is it possible to display a variable's value in a drawing? I'm using the drawing feature to submit plans to the city for a remodel. I need to display the square feet of each floor. I can calculate this using the "Measure Value" feature script, but I can't find any way to display the variable's value in a drawing.

My best bet for this usecase would be:
1. Creating a computed property: https://www.onshape.com/en/resource-center/tech-tips/using-computed-part-properties-in-onshape
2. Linking to your property on your drawing: https://www.onshape.com/en/resource-center/tech-tips/tech-tip-how-to-link-to-properties-in-onshape-drawings
Otherwise, maybe there is already someone that has created a FeatureScript for something like this.
Hope this helps. Cheers
