Finding Document Comments

Anyone have a good way of locating comments that were left in a version of a document?  As far as I can see, there is absolutely no way of finding them without scanning through each version you believe to be in the vicinity of when the comments were left.  Too bad the version tree does not show any indication of the presence of comments in a version.  It would be so convenient to see a comment icon on the version tag and when hovering, have a little summary popup similar to the configuration popup you see when hovering over a part in an assembly.

Just a thought, not sure if it would work.... What about merging everything into a new branch? Would they all show up together that way? You could delete that branch afterwards if no longer required.

    Thinking out loud.
