Hello all,
maybe someone can help me here:
The gray area is a circular area . I want the area that is between the blue area and the gray area as a new surface. So how can I subtract the blue area from the gray area?
Thanks for the help and best regards

Hi @tanja_matzerath, There are a few different ways to achieve this. Here is one way:
Thicken the surface that is the tool so that it is a solid part, then Boolean subtract it from the target surface.
Currently, the Thicken remove does not allow subtraction directly with surfaces which is why I split it into two separate steps.

this worked: surface substract | Part Studio 1 (onshape.com)
@stvnvl_8501 Extrude is good if the surface is flat and will allow the extrude. Thicken will handle it even if the surface is not flat. I'm sure there are even more robust ways to do this.
