Can't search for part numbers when inserting from releases

Why would this have changed? I haven't seen any mention of this being changed in the update notes. Looks like we now can see some extra info about the released item from the insert menu(very good) but trying to use the search is only referencing the name of the item not the part number of the item. My goodness. Why is it either or? Why can't it just be both? In addition, it seems weird we can see the name of the item but it only shows about 8 characters. Seems much less then useful. If only the insert dialog could be resized?
