Thread creator won't do 1.6mm diameter 0.35mm pitch with ISO Standard

Hi,

I tried Tread creator for the first time. When trying to make a hole for a metric M1.6 and pitch of 0.35, Onshape Fails. When trying the same for an M1 everything works fine.

What am I doing wrong? Is this a bug?

Kind regards,

Lorenz

it would seem that this is either a zero thickness geometry issue, which is not supported or some weird anomaly. if you change it to 1.61 does it work?

I have found the solution. Behind the pitch measure, flip the orientation (Start At Opposite End) of the thread (not Lefthand option) on the threads giving an error.

I had six holes created by a circular pattern in the sketch and these subtracted from the part i was working on. The origin of the circular pattern worked immediatly with this thread. With all the five 'copies' I had to flip the orientation of the thread and it worked fine as well.

Completely happy with the Thread Creator (TH).

PS: Jacob_Corder, thanks for your reaction!
