Missing step? Failure to create a reference to an imported derived part

To see a demo of this issue, please visit my Cubic Dice document, open the Cube Script tab, and click on the yellow FeatureScript Notices {!} icon near the centre at the top of the page.
You'll see the warning "Variable DIE_PART_STUDIO not found",
I have worked all the way through the Milk Crate Capstone project from the FeatureScript Fundamental course. I am now trying to create a derived part, using the same principles as the Lattice in the project. Copying the structure of the Milk Crate project, I have created a second part studio (Die Studio) in the same document for my derived part. I have imported the Die Studio into the Cube Script, and prefixed the import with "DIE_PART_STUDIO::", following the same logic as in the Milk Crate project (Step 5).
However, Onshape fails to generate a reference to the imported Part Studio.
I thought that perhaps the problem lay in the fact that I have used a FeatureScript to generate the parts in the Die Studio, so I created a different document where I used the UI to add Sketch and Extrude operations. The warning appeared just the same.

Thanks in advance for any insight into what steps I have missed. If there is already a tutorial that explains how to import a derived part in this way, I would be grateful to know where to find it.
