Shaded and unshaded modes. Shadows causing confusion in assembly drawing
Hi team, I am doing assembly drawings and the shadow caused by the default "top-down light" is causing confusion due to the shading.
This shading may cause confusion as one part may have multiple colour shades - this could be misinterpretted by the assemblers. It would be clearer in the drawing if there were no shadows! It would be fantastic if there was an "unshaded mode" setting which would keep the parts the same colour and shade.
An alternative name/idea would be a "diffuse light" setting (or "ambient light" setting as it known in other CAD platforms) which would apply light equally and diffusely from all sides to remove shadows.
This problem arose as I have a part which represents a coating of a intumescent coating (passive fire protection concept)
In the image below the circled part is set as white (255,255,255) in the colour editor yet the image below appears to be two-tone. This will cause confusion to the coating applicators
