Hi,
I've been using OnShape for a few months now, and it's been really great.

But lately, in the last couple of weeks, it struggle to stay connected. I only get a minute or two before it has to reconnect. the last thing I drew has to be redone. its really frustrating to work this way.

Hi @doug_hills. Sorry for the frustration. This can happen if you have security software installed on your machine or security configuration that blocks websockets on the devices in your network.

Looking at your connection metrics, I can see generally good performance with just an occasional latency spike. Looking at our logs, I can see that the websocket disconnects are coming from the client or the network. The server side is not initiating the disconnect.

I can see your login events coming from 2 different locations (I don't want to say too much on the forum). Are you using a VPN? Any network or security tool changes recently?

Hi thanks for the reply. Yes I do use a VPN. but the problem isn't consistent. didn't have a problem for the first couple of months. Then it was every time. today, it seems stable. the PC has been rebooted, and the security software was updated at some point, but could not say exactly when.  I'll try get more specific information if it happens again.
