Importing SVG files

.svg is listed as one of the file formats that can be imported.  My client has sent to me an SVG file in several colors.  The idea is to place this logo on sketch within a document or assembly, extrude it (in several colors) then use a Prusa XL printer to print it in several colors.  But when I try to "Import Image", it tells me there are no image files available, even after I locate and click on the .svg file.  What am I missing here? Alternatively, how could I convert the SVG file to a file that can be placed on a sketch and extruded.
