Tapered internal spline

Hello all, fairly new to Onshape and trying to draw a tapered internal spline inside a tapered gear. I have managed to draw it but something is wrong with it. I found some interesting things in your sketches and methods. There are a lack of constraints in the sketches and misalignment of centers. I'm wondering why surfaces are being used then filled to close for solids when an extrude solid will do nicely? I put together some thoughts in my sample as to methods that will save some time. The tooth profile, you will have to verify. I did not. Hope this sample helps you get a better start.

Hi Glen, thanks for your reply. The reason for the way I did it is that I couldn't make the extrude work but I now see your use of the draft option does the trick. I'm also unsure on using the circular constraint, trying to find videos. I've had no formal training in 3d cad and have previously mostly used Tinkercad but want to get more proficient in Onshape. If you know of any good intermediate videos please link. I got the tooth design by using an online generator Spline Generator and saved and imported as .dxf then traced over the top in Onshape as it didn't seem to like the curves(probably just my lack of knowledge again). Anyway, thanks again for your help, anything you can suggest to boost my abilities would be much appreciated.
