Help With Placing Part Into An Assembly

Hello....I'm writing for one of my students as I'm not sure what the problem is. The "Bottom Pedistal" part seems to be built fine but it only comes out into a rectangular cube when trying to place it into the assembly "All Together."

Can anyone help please?

Thank you that's what the issue was....the loft feature was supposed to be a solid not a surface model. Thanks again!

There are two things in the part studio, a rectangular block and a lofted surface. Perhaps the intention was to loft a solid and add that to the block?
