Hi everybody, I am wondering how to mould something like the following image. I tried different ways but doesn’t even look similar. Any tip you can provide to get to a close result? Look at the thin lines at the end that vanish on the cylinder. Thanks in advance

S1mon Member Posts: 2,953 PROIn this case, it looks like the basic shape tapers near the top. I suspect that the grooves are along a helix which is cylindrical, but because the body itself tapers, the grooves fade out near the top.0

The "Target as a cylinder" has an interesting trick we use often where a helix is projected onto a non-cylindrical surface. This can be utilized for many interesting things, including cutting scrolls on violins for instance...0
