Having Trouble Extruding Sketch

I am having a problem Extruding a logo. It is requiring me to delete a portion of the sketch to get it to extrude. Can anyone help? Will not extrude with section of sketch (marked in red in the photo) selected.

@nate_wilwerding, the node where three line segments (one of which your red arrow points to) intersect is the issue.  Extruding this profile would create "non-manifold" geometry.  If this profile were extruded, more than two faces would share an edge.
Most parametric, feature based CAD software, including Onshape, will not accept non-manifold geometry.  From an engineering perspective this is generally not a limitation because non-manifold geometry can't be manufactured in the real world.
