MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2011) support (unacceptable performance on default shading with edges)

I have https://support.apple.com/kb/SP631?locale=en_US (4GB ram, Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor with 256MB). But I can use Onshape only if I set "Shaded without edges". Otherwise UI is very laggy.
But it is annoying because I have to:
1) set "Shaded without edges" for each assembly.
2) Wait 5-10 seconds until document is loaded and only then I can set "Shaded without edges" (operating system is freezed during load).
3) Default rendering is so beautiful and I want to use it
Interesting that it works pretty fast on iPad (hardware acceleration rocks?)
I have tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox — the same result.
Is there any chance that you can fix it or "sorry, you should buy more powerful machine"? (Onshape works perfectly on my iMac (27-inch, Late 2012)).
