Issues with face blend tool

Hello, I am having issues with the face blend tool, I am trying to blend the selected sides to the base so it creates a curve. I have them selected but I still have issues.

Without a public document and a sketch of what your intentions are, it’s difficult to say. From the screenshot, it appears that your Side 2 selection may want to be the surface outside all the Side 1 “face of Fillet2” selections.

You have three parts, and it's not clear if that's intentional or not. Face blend can create a blend between two parts, but only as a detached surface. If you want a solid blend, the input surfaces for the blend need to be on the same part. Your extrudes probably should be using "Add" instead of "New", or you could Boolean them together.

Your part ist not only three parts, they also overlap. Therefore I suspect this is not intentional. Build a clean part, then try again and make the sample document public, else we can't help much.

Also, why a face blend at this location? Where exactly is it meant to be? Wouldn't a fillet do?
