How to Warp an Image

I uploaded an image for a drawing however it is not exactly to scale. How do I change its scale, horizontal to vertical ratio, in onshape.

Use the Scale function of the Transform feature. If "Scale uniformly is unchecked" XYZ can be scaled independently to change the size and ratios.

@mahir How do you select an image as "Entities to transform or copy" in this dialog? It will not accept images if I try.

As far as I know, there's no way inside standard Onshape to do non-uniform scaling of an image. You can't even use the transform feature on a sketch. The transform tool within the sketcher can only do uniform scaling.

When you insert a sketch picture you can apply dimensions to it, however if you want more control, you can try this "Image" FeatureScript, that lets you change the aspect ratio and use a reference on the picture to apply a scale:

Lol completely spaced that this was for an image. But like everyone else said, Onshape isn’t really made to edit images. However, there are a ton of free image editing programs out there. And they all can do image stretching. My go-to is usually Paint.net.
