How do you fix a "Remove" Hex into another hexagon and have the corrosponding sides be parallel?

When I first created the remove sketch, I was able to fix it so that it is parallel. But when I go to extend it, it doesn't show the lock-in mechanism anymore. Does anyone know a way to lock the sides so that they are parallel?

Sounds like you just need to select two edges and use the parallel constraint (shortcut is 'b').
