How to fix the roration sweep along a 3D Spline

Hello
I am trying to design a part with a cam track for generating a reciptocating motion.
I've a cylinder and I've managed to add the 3D Spline to represent the cam profile.
I've added a rectangle to represent the cut profile
When I try to sweep my rectangle profile around the spline to cut my channel, the square profile also rotates, twisting and not creating a proper channel for my cam (See attached image).

Can anyone help me?  Any of the tutorials for this (that I can find) offer a circular profile so this is hidden.

The part is at:  https://cad.onshape.com/documents/1447003c61663834aab9c49f/w/1710d7dda387e9c3d6c9fe79/e/e1929228c4da4196c4b7155f

Any particular reason not to use wrap function the same as lower grooves? You can certainly improve on my sample but it's s start.

The lower Grooves were applied to the outer surface, I wanted to apply them to the inside surface.
I also tried extending the shape before wrap but i couldnt get the spacing right for the shapes to merge cortectly.  When I added the extener rectangle, the wrap and the extrude fail.

Take another look at my sample. While you will need to adjust the profile, it's a simple matter of selecting the inner surface in stead of outer.

Thank you.  Have you any idea why the extended profile of my curve wouldnt wrap?

I think you'll find that the profile overlaps which could lead to nonmanifold geometry.
When I worked up a sample a while ago for my edification. The form was laid up with sketch a calculated length.
Some variables were used for the tube and sketches.
Sry. Can't find the sample. Either deleted or placed deep in another document. If I can find some time in the morning maybe make a new one unless somebody has another sample.

    Hello Alan
Here is a sample thrown together. You'll notice that the first 2 profiles are shortened by a small amount and the tag removed after. When the profile ends meet there seems to be an error such as nonmanifold geometry.
You can continue around as noted in 3rd sample.

    Hope this helps. Glen
