Create peeling effect

Hello, 

I am currently making some designs for a fabrication flow diagram. In the last step I need my design to look like its peeling off the substrate. Like the photo attached. How can I give this peeling effect in OnShape?

You could create the top layer as  thick extrude of a sketched spline, with the spline being defined by variables (say height over substrate at start, mid, end), so you could modify the amount of peel-off effect by changing the variables or by using configurations. In this sample "Default" is flat:

Thank you for your suggestion, I guess in doing this I will lose the features onto of the bent part. Sorry if this is wrong I have only recently started using

In that case, you could possibly try using the wrap tool, and wrap a sketch onto your bent part to model the surface features, though that would require you to create the peel effect with arcs, rather than splines. The wrap tool only works on cylindrical faces.
