One of the ways it would be useful to share files with customers (not me) or communities (totes me) would be to use a label for associated files. If we could add labels to our designs and then link to that label, it could be a useful way to:
It would be great if these labels could be viewable by people without accounts for any of the public use cases.
All of these suggestions would bring more eyes to On-Shape.
- Bring attention to a collection of parts in a project for a group of engineers
- Share design organization in an internal Slack or email
- Allow clients to preview your work for them
- Share designs posted on Printables, Thingiverse, etc.
- Share a Portfolio on a resume, making On-Shape the ME equivalent of GitHub
- Share files for community projects
- Share collections in other media like Facebook, Youtube, etc
It would be great if these labels could be viewable by people without accounts for any of the public use cases.
All of these suggestions would bring more eyes to On-Shape.
