Pinch to zoom on Firefox with Mac

When using a trackpad on Firefox with Mac, the 'pinch to zoom' (pinching two fingers together/apart on the trackpad) does not work to zoom in/out. I can only do the standard two-finger scroll gesture. Is there any way to change this?
