joining edges on dxf

i have downloaded a dxf of parts for a model to be cut out and made.
i was wondering if there was a way of joining them together to create the model online. to see it in 3D
imported them into part studio and extruded them into sheet metal parts.

is there a way to join curved edges of parts to each other? i have a load of flat parts but they will be welded together and bend/ buckle themselves to fit.
can i join edges of parts or would it need to be redrawn in 3d

You can do quite some complex shapes in sheet metal and then also assemble these parts, but bending a flat part after the fact is AFAIK not possible.
