A few newby questions about simulation

in Simulation
Hey folks,
I'd like to try to simulate a progressive coil spring in Onshape (tapering diameter and changing coil pitch). Making this even a bit more complicated - some of the coils lock up during the actuation. This might be beyond Onshape - but a couple of questions.
A) I recall that when I used the simulation module in Soldworks they had a "large displacement" mode for situations where there was.... well... large displacement. Does such a mode exist in onshape?
Is there a way to prevent "penetration" ideally between a part and itself - but if not, between multiple parts?
Thanks!
