Sketch inside part always results in hidden lines

I am creating a sketch to use in a revolve cut on a part. In the sketch none of the lines are construction. When I finish the sketch any lines that intersect the part become construction, preventing me from using them in the revolve cut. I've created a simple part to demonstrate this. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/0b3fa9eb66c32cf0e01a17ba

The lines are not construction. There are other faces in the way preventing you from selecting the sketch faces. Hide your part and then you will be able to select the sketch faces.

    Hello Thomas. Another option:
Select the Front view to get the part in a good position for the next step(s). While in Revolve feature, for the input you can window select the lower rectangle. Other than window select you an also individually select each edge of the rectangle. Also, notice that if you select the upper edge first (which is visible), the entire face will be selected. You can also do the same selection process before you enter the Revolve feature.

An other option. In your situation is to select the revolve tool to exit the sketch and go directly into revolve with the sketch already selected. Same applies to extrude. If there are entities not wanted in the preselection then make them construction.
The sketch can be selected from the feature tree as well,
