Creating a Cutlist with Dimension in Onshape

Hello folks,

I'm a complete newbie to Onshape. In principle I'm getting along well, but I'm just stuck on one point: I want to create a parts cutting list with the appropriate dimensions so that I can saw the parts out of the panels.

I created a cutlist with the respective parts in Onshape and it also appears in the right panel. However, I don't see any dimensions. I'm sure it's just a small thing. I've read a lot in the forum and online, but couldn't find a solution.

I have attached a screenshot of my view.

I really look forward to helpful comments. Thank you very much!

To generate a detailed cut list you would need to use the Fame Tool, this will then give you the information you need. (See 2nd image below)

same here. Nowhere there is any usable informatio to be found about a cutlist like it is common in woodworking.

@quentin_sandberger no you don't need the pro account. The free account has access to all of the part studio features.

If you don't want to use the frame feature, you can try the Measure Cut List feature.

Also, if your parts are more complex you could always place them into a drawing and put dimensions on it.
