Hi Everyone,
I have assembled a frame structure for a custom built machine. With the current features I find it difficult to assemble the as easy i have seen in the videos earlier. This could be due to the complexity of the design which i have. And i am also unable to generate a cut list. An error message is popped as ¨Failed to find frame start and end faces¨. What could be the reason for this message? Any insights on how to detect and solve this issue .......

Did you window select all parts for the cut list? Maybe something not a frame was selected.
I changed to check box for select all frames. This not only gets all frames but excludes anything that's not. If you need any other items they can be individually if they are valid.
BTW. Since I started using frames I've always used the move face to stretch items. Just seamed right and simple to use. So I've never looked into whether an extrude is considered valid.

Thanks that solves the issue.
Not sure whether i can post one more issue for the same frame. But if solved that would be appreciable.
Perpedicular frame of length 125 mm was supposed to be matched. However as shown below, in the frame window the ¨limit frame ends¨ option selected the ¨Parts to trim to¨ option thereby the section is taking the profile of the mating frame and the length is shown as 137.32 mm.
Is there any other way that i could use plz......
In the limit frame ends you selected a part instead of a surface as the limiting factor. This is what causes the new frame t follow contours of selected part instead of intended but joint.
