Wheel rim spoke mirror not working

I've been trying to get past step 10 for a while now and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.  Anyone got any suggestions?

I think there is gap somewhere in your design, I use a different approach.
Copy my file and see.

Did you try the "reapply features" checkbox in the mirror feature dialog?

(hint: this is the advice that the error message is giving)

I tried Gregs suggestion first since it was easier and it worked like a charm, much appreciated.  Turned out to be real simple fix in the end if I had just paid more attention to the dialogs.  Thank you both for your prompt replies, you saved me a lot of head scratching.
