Cannot Edit Some Property Fields

I am working on an enterprise account and have full edit access to all documents within my enterprise. I am trying to edit certain properties of various parts in preparation for a BoM. Working in a top level assembly, I find the part I want to edit, right click > properties, and in the properties screen I can only edit certain fields (description, vendor, project, a few others). I cannot edit the title, part number, revision number, material, override the mass, and a few others. Additionally, I cannot edit the material by going into the individual part studio either - it only gives me a "View Material" option instead of an "Edit Material" option. Any clues as to why this might be happening? Happy to provide additional info as needed.
