Issues with Connecting Flanges in Sheet Metal

marco_ariglianimarco_arigliani Member Posts: 2
Hello everyone,

I'm encountering an issue while creating flanges on a sheet metal part using Onshape. I used the flange feature to add two new flanges, but they don't seem to be connecting properly. Specifically, the lower flange doesn't start from the root of the angle as I intended.

I have attached a screenshot to illustrate the specific issue. As you can see, there is a discontinuity between the two flanges, and I am puzzled as to why there is this gap or why the flange doesn't start directly from the angle.

Thank you very much for your help!

I see from your picture that there are at least 2 different bend radii used which is why the bend corner develops the way it does.
