I cant seem to attach (or at least find a way) certain elements in this assembly

I have downloaded this model from grabcad and currently trying to assemble it into a fully functioning shock absorber. However, I ran into a problem when trying to attach the springs to the flat surface like it is supposed to. I have been trying out mate connectors, but cant seem to have find a solution.

Can anyone give this a try? I will greatly appreciate your help!

Hello. I went back to the part studio. I was able to find the distance from the front plane to the flat on the spring to be 3.1cm. I placed a mate connector on the origin (where the front plane lives) and realigned the primary (Z) axis to the front plane and move it 3.1 cm and declared the spring as the owner part. Going back to the Assembly, fastening the two parts was straight forward. - Scotty
