Adding a Groove to an Object
I have a polygon solid, for the sake of discussion say a rectangle of 4" x 6" x 1".
I would just like to add a 1/8" groove around the perimeter of one of the 4 x 6 faces. The groove would be say 1/4" from all the edges.
It seems like maybe you could just draw lines, give the lines a width and do a negative (remove) extrude on the group of lines. I don't see any way to give a line width so that is as far as I've gotten with that.
