Bending a shape

Here's a 3D model I found. It is full of errors, such as non-manifold edges, so I can't use it. But I'm trying to make my own version.

So I drew the following 2D image and extruded it, Now I want to bend it into a leaf shape. Exploring the documentation does not make the means of doing this obvious. A pointer to the primitives I need or a tutorial are what I need. Note that I will probably make six different leaves and create an assembly, which will also have a base for a lamp at the bottom. TIA.

I tried going to sheet metal, using just the sketch (not the extruded component) but I couldn't figure out how to put a flange in at a certain line across the narrow part.

It is not bent as far as to create undercuts, so I'd use two sketches and intersect them:

You could easily add one more sketch curve before the loft, to form a center rib in the petal and make it more realistic.

WOW! THANK YOU!!! This is great, and I am going to spend a lot of time discovering everything you did. It prints beautifully. Unfortunately, it didn't survive the support removal (I lost three inner leaves) but the production version will be printed using water-soluble support material. Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much!

With a center rib, the petals might become a bit more stable:

Hi @martin_kopplow, can you share what you did to add that center rib? I've tried a few different things but can't seem to replicate the really nice shape you have here.

It is all in my file linked earlier, just open the version browser an go to the latest version in the B1 branch:
