Better surface quality

I'm doing some valentine's themed designs, and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for how to set up the surface with better curvature? Lofting results in these funky combs. I tried using boundary surface like 8 different ways but can't get it to work (probably a skill issue tbh).

Try using guides with the loft or use Boundary surface if you are going for surface quality.
