So I'm learning Assembly studio and mates, I have a simple question ... how do you limit the minimum and maximum travel of a slider mate? Here is the problem:

I see there is an option for "Limits in the slider mate, is this what I'm looking for? Can't seem to make it to what I want.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the prompt response!

But how did you find the travel as 7"? I'm looking back at the assembly studio, I do not see where I can get that measurement since all of the parts seem to be built from different sketches (as they should be)?

@daniel_chow , Starting portion of above and below video indicating how it comes 7'' ( It is distance obtained from face selection of back portion of jaw and face of vise base) . Measurement is appearing in bottom right side of screen window as shown in video. One more method is there with the help of that you can easily define sliding path as shown in below video.
    1) Make slider mate as fastened mate.
    2) Measure distance by selecting face of back portion of jaw and face of vise base (Travel path).
    3) After measurement make fastened mate to slider and put limit value.

    Got it now, thank you!

I also learned that I didn't have to change Slider 1 to Fastened. Also I can select both of those faces in the parts studio as well. Thank you!
