Can animation transfer an action through sequential parts?

I'm trying to model the basic action of a single key in an organ keyboard.  The key rests on a fulcrum. Depressing the key at the front lifts the tail end of the key at the back and pushes up a vertical dowel called a "stickler". The top end of the stickler, in turn, lifts the end of a horizontal lever above ("backfall") extending to the rear. The backfall rests under a fulcrum.  As the front end of the backfall lifts, the rear end drops, pulling open a valve controlling air flow into an organ pipe.  I modeled each part in Onshape and joined them in an assembly using revolute mates.  Each revolute mate animates the mated parts as desired, but animating the entire assembly either locks the assembly or moves the fulcrums.   I fixed the fulcrums in position, but Onshape cannot "apply transform."  When animation rotates the key on its fulcrum, the action should drop the tail end of the backfall. Can Onshape animation transfer the action through three or more parts?  Thank you.
