Flattening compound surfaces

Is there any way in Onshape to flatten compound surfaces like the flatten tool in Solidworks? For context, I have an organically-shaped part that will be made of carbon composite and for which we would like to derive flat patterns for cutting pieces from prepreg carbon fabric.

    No unfortunately.

Your best bets are probably Exactflat or Rhino (there's a free 90-day trial).

Ok, thanks for the info. Hopefully, something gets developed so that this kind of thing can be done in Onshape.
