How do i rotate an extruded surface?

mike_s328mike_s328 Member Posts: 4
I am trying to rotate the extrusion 45 degrees.
This way the holes are angled from the rectangular shape.
I am essentially trying to make a 45 degree spice rack to hold household spices.

Thank you

You could use the extrude direction option to angle the direction of the holes, but that's probably not what you want.

You could also create a plane 45 degrees to the rectangular shape and extrude from there.

Might be cool to chamfer one edge before you do your cuts.

I was able to make a 45 degree plane as instruction, but now i don't seem to understand how to move my sketch to the new plane? Any help? @Matt_Shields

Notice Plane 1 has to be before Sketch 2 in the Features list in order to move the sketch it onto the plane.
