Wrap solid on cylinder help

The tail is the wrapping on to the cylinder part, please help! (its a github logo btw)

You can then use a Boolean Subtract tool to remove the body from the tail but tick the box that says 'Keep Tools' so you can keep the body.
I made the body one part to make it simpler but you can use multiple tools in the boolean dialogue box.
