Multiple Split Tools

I have often wanted to split a part with multiple surfaces however currently with the split tool you cannot do this. I think a function should be added so this is possible. It could be implemented in a similar way to the Loft tool being able to loft multiple edges as one continuous edge. Would this be possible at some point?
