How to get the sketch of Assembly parts in part studio?

I am a complete beginner to 3D modelling. Currently, I am trying to assemble a simple Arduino car using parts from public showcase.
The bluish base for attaching all other parts is designed inside part studio 1.
I want to make holes and gaps on it for wiring and setting screws. So, I think having the sketch of those parts (the servo motor, motor driver etc) in the same part studio will allow exact positioning for the screw holes. How can I do that? Thank you.
