Issues with creating a pipe and putting holes in it.

So i'm trying to design a dredge nozzle for my gold digging adventures.. but i'm completely new and the tutorials i tried doesn't help.
So what i'm trying to do is to create a pipe with a slight bend in it (not 90 degrees as in the image below) i then need to put a hole in that and attach the other pipe to this hole. But I'm having issues getting the bend correct and then putting the hole into the pipe.
It will be similar to the one below but not quite as many degrees on the bend. Any help would be appreciated.
