Offset from imported DXF sketch causes lines to break

Here is an image for reference. How do I prevent this? I was looking into constraining the DXF sketch but from my research, it does not seem possible.

You are probably better off not doing offset within the sketch. If you are going to extrude just do a thin extrude or extrude a surface and offset it.

It also looks like what you imported is a bunch of lines instead of a curve. Is that what’s in the original file? If not, there may be export options to control if everything gets converted to poly lines.
