Pyramides on Cylinder Neewbie Question

Hello @ll!
After I found out how to create a pyramide I want to put 3 Pyramide objects onto the side of a cylinder and Im struggeling.
So far I was able to create the cylinder, added a new plane(2) with an offset and added 3 squares onto the cylinder outer wall.
The first pyramid is created between the square and point on the plane(2). But if I try to do the same with the other two objects it fails. (Could not determine loft direction)
Can someone explain where my mistake is?
Thanks in advance

I found a way:
Add a plane to the cylinder so the square base of the pyramide is just in the cylinderwall. Add another plane for the tip of the pyramide.
Add another plane for the second tip, a third for the third tip of the 3rd pyramide.
I need to learn a lot :-)
Maybe someone has a better way to do that?
