How can I wrap a solid to a curved Surface?

So i have this ring which has has a profile which i just cannot recreate using the normal wrap function
so i want a way to wrap this ring on the curve of the cylinder.
yes i thought abt making a profile and doing a sweep but i cannot make a curve wrap on the surface without making it a solid or a surface
Image 1 is the ring and the 2nd image is the cylinder i want to wrap it around and 3rd image is almost like a reference on how it should look thank you for your help.
