Sweep solution needed

I want to sweep Sketch 3 along Sketch 1, however, I get the error message shown in the picture. 
Sketch 1 was build from a multipoint straight line.

    Change your Sweep path (the multi-segment line you created) to normal lines...not construction lines.

    On another note, that Sweep path is not ideal....unless you purposely want your Sweep Feature to have sharp break points along the way.

    To fix this (if that is what you want), change that multisegment line to a Spline.

    Thank you John. I will look into your suggestions. It looks that the basic thing I missed is that I cannot use construction lines to define the path. My fault
