I searched far and wide on how to actually start a simulation because there seemed to be no such commands. Every video started with a simulation already present. I have the Educator plan. We are currently using ANSYS and are transitioning to OnShape. It would be convenient to have our fluid/stress FEA consolidated into OnShape with the solid models.
It is stated that this plan has simulation capability here:
Was simulation capability removed from Educator?

Add a force, moment, etc. and you have yourself a simulation!
Currently, static and modal, no fluid.
It never occurred to me that you had to be in an assembly. It's not possible to isolate it to single part?
