Extruding along a radius/fillet

Hello, I am trying to connect the two extruded sections on each flat surface by extruding the filleted edge but i can't seem to get this to work. Is there an easy way to do this or will I have to resketch the initial shape and find another way?

    Are you trying to have the slot continue around the curve?  You could do the whole thing with a sweep remove.  Or sketch on the top face and extrude remove with an offset.

    If you want to continue from where you are you could also do a revolve using one of the end faces of the slot.
